I have since this pic. added a seat concept seat and built my own pannier racks and changed the front fender and headlight to green

Not an owner yet, just an enthusiast. But am looking at picking up an R model. Have a line on one. Will post when I do. Will post here (I never posted on yahoo but like this layout) and on the ADV thread.....

hopefully the site gets used as I think it's well setup and there's still enough guys on the KLX's to warrant it for sure...... at least I think there is!

Took me a minute to remember who Master Splinter was! Good ol Ninja Turtles. But it's just play on cowabunga that I came up with. Thought it was unique enough that I can use it on the the other sites I frequent (ADV etc) and reflects the 5 Kawasaki's I got in the garage (KLX110 KLX140 KDX220 Versys 650 and Brute Force 650)

That being said, did have a fellow on the Aussie Yamaha IT forum comment that it might not be welcome around there! (have a DT200, which I'm planning to sell to fund the big KLX)

Just post the picture and let s see if KLX fans will pile up on you lol doubt it i love the yamaha it, saw a lot of it in 80s movies stunts

Not sure I posted a picture, but it’s my tagged 96 R model, 665cc, supermoto convertible!, but wearing stock wheels in that picture

Just picked it up. It was a 94 in pretty nice shape but crappy rattle can paint job on the frame and tank. Runs great, pulls like a tractor. Looks like it has an aftermarket header on it as it's huge and there are no bosses for the guard. Also still has the auto cam chain tensioner...... should be fun to continue to mod, clean up, and ride! Will try to post a pic, see if it works. haven't done it before........
